We're Currently Hiring:

Pay Rate: $25–$32/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking teachers who:

  • Have advanced proficiency on their primary instrument and strong music theory knowledge

  • Are committed to healthy technique, musicality, and student-centered teaching

  • Are reliable, organized, and great communicators

  • Are pursuing or have earned a degree in music

  • Are comfortable working with students of all ages, especially children

  • Are available for in-person teaching in the Sacramento area

Availability Requirement:
All applicants must be available at least two weekdays per week with a minimum of 4 hours of availability (extending to at least 7:00 PM) on those days. Weekend availability is a plus in addition to this.

Teachers will begin with a small student roster and build gradually over several months. Our admin team supports you along the way so you can focus on what you do best—teaching.

Group Class Teachers

Our early childhood and group class teachers should have:

  • A joyful, energetic classroom presence

  • Strong singing and sight-reading skills

  • Intermediate piano skills (chord progressions, simple accompaniments, etc.)

  • Experience with young children (toddlers through elementary age)

You’ll receive curriculum training and support, with opportunities to co-teach before taking on your own classes.
