Automatic Re-enrollment Policy

(Harmony Road, Young Musician, and Keyboard Prep Programs)

💛 Our Commitment to Continuous Learning

Harmony Road, Young Musician, and Keyboard Prep are multi-semester programs designed to guide students through a complete musical journey —
🎵 four semesters for Harmony Road and Young Musician
🎵 three semesters for Keyboard Prep

Our goal is to see every child complete their full series, building a strong foundation in rhythm, ear training, note reading, and ensemble skills.

Continuity is where the best learning happens — steady participation with the same teacher and cohort from start to finish.

Families commit to one semester at a time, but automatic re-enrollment keeps learning seamless and avoids the need to re-register each term.

📘 How Automatic Re-enrollment Works

  • Students are automatically re-enrolled each semester.

  • Teachers can plan lessons that build naturally from one semester to the next.

  • Tuition and class schedules continue without interruption to support steady progress.

If your family will not continue for the next term, simply complete the Opt-Out Form by the posted deadline (usually 30 days before the next semester begins).

Families receive:
✅ Multiple email reminders
✅ Verbal reminders from teachers in class

If no opt-out form is submitted, your child’s class spot remains reserved and enrollment continues automatically.

⚖️ Late Withdrawals

Once the opt-out deadline passes, teacher schedules and class rosters are set.

Tuition charges apply as follows:

  • More than 7 days before semester start: 1 month tuition — administrative and staffing commitments already finalized.

  • Within 7 days before semester start: 2 months tuition — class and payroll confirmed; unable to fill space.

  • After the semester begins: full semester tuition — enrollment is confirmed for the term.

After the deadline, each student’s space, teacher time, and payroll have already been committed.
Late withdrawals directly impact our ability to maintain small class sizes, reliable staffing, and high-quality programming.
These policies protect our teachers’ hours and ensure consistency for all families.

☀️ Summer Continuation

Classes continue through summer to preserve musical growth and keep cohorts together.

In May, families receive a Summer Planning Form to share travel or scheduling conflicts.
We’ll review responses and determine how we can best accommodate each cohort’s needs, such as:

  • Skipping shared travel weeks

  • Slight schedule adjustments

  • Coordinating make-up options

While we can’t accommodate every individual request, our goal is always to support continuity and help each class stay connected and progressing.

Families who need to discontinue after spring will indicate that on the Summer Planning Form by its deadline.

👥 Minimum Enrollment / Partner Classes

If a class drops to two students, it converts to a Partner Class:

  • Same curriculum and tuition

  • Class time adjusts from 55 → 45 minutes

This ensures personalized learning while keeping pacing consistent.

Our shared goal:
✨ Help every student complete their full program series and develop a lifelong love of music.
