Summer Lesson Package Policies
Please review carefully before registering.
📅 Scheduling
Packages are available in 4-, 6-, or 8-lesson options.
Upon registration, families are asked to book a scheduling call. Registration is finalized once this call is completed.
Lessons are scheduled during this call based on your availability and teacher openings.
All packages must be scheduled no later than July 15.
All lessons must be completed by August 15.
Lessons cannot be carried beyond this date.
🔁 Rescheduling & Missed Lessons
24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a lesson.
4-lesson package: 1 make-up lesson
6-lesson (Music Explorers): 1 make-up lesson
8-lesson package: up to 2 make-up lessons
Make-up lessons are subject to teacher availability.
Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed lessons, or no-shows are forfeited.
Students who arrive late will still finish at their scheduled end time.
All lessons, including make-ups, must be completed by August 15.
💳 Registration & Payment
A $25 registration fee is charged at registration and is non-refundable.
Full tuition is charged once your lesson schedule is confirmed.
A valid card is required at registration. A 3% convenience fee applies to all card transactions.
ACH payments are available for ongoing enrollment, but not for summer packages.
Registration is complete once payment is received.
❌ Cancellations & Changes
Summer packages are non-refundable once lessons are scheduled.
🎒 Materials & Instruments
Students in 4- or 8-lesson packages are required to have access to an instrument at home for practice.
This is one of the biggest factors in a student’s progress—and when students can see and feel that progress, they’re more engaged, more confident, and more excited to keep going.
A limited number of basic keyboards are available for short-term rental.
Music Explorers students are not required to have instruments at home, though having access to one will support their experience for the reasons above.
For instrument recommendations, please visit our Instruments Page.
🦠 Illness Policy
Students should stay home if they are sick.
Students must be fever-free for at least 24 hours before attending lessons. If a student has missed school due to illness, they may not attend in person.
If the student feels well enough, an online lesson may be arranged in place of an in-person lesson.
Students who arrive visibly ill may be sent home, and the lesson will be forfeited.
