Music, joy & laughter
A song you love is a good place to start.
Whether your child sings around the house or you’re ready to sing in front of others, there’s room for you here. Lessons pair music you enjoy with patient teaching, and recitals give you a welcoming place to share it.
Bring your interest in pop, musical theatre, jazz, or classical music. We’ll get to know you and choose songs that suit your voice and what you want to learn.

How we teach
Classical foundations for every style.
All our voice teachers are classically trained. We value that foundation because it develops the breath, posture, and vocal coordination that support healthy vocal habits and singing with greater ease—whatever music you want to make.
The work behind the songs
Songs are part of the lesson, and so are vocal exercises. Expect a meaningful part of your time to focus on technique. That work gives you ways to adjust when a phrase feels difficult, understand what changed, and bring more ease and control into your music.
Learn how to practice
Take home specific exercises and things to listen for, so practice has a purpose beyond singing a song again.
Train your ear, too
Pitch, rhythm, music reading, and listening are part of voice study. They help you understand what you’re singing.
Use the work in a song
Bring technique into the words, breathing, and phrasing of your music. There’s room for favorite songs and new discoveries.

Discover how your voice, body, and mind work together.
Singing involves your whole self: how you breathe, what you hear, where you feel tension, and what you imagine. Through movement, listening, and guided experiments, your teacher helps you discover those connections—and find what makes singing feel easier.
Your teacher sings and explores alongside you, helping you carry each discovery into a phrase, a song, and your practice at home.

Voice lessons for children, teens, and adults.

Children
Playful exploration, movement, listening, and familiar songs build musical understanding. We choose exercises and repertoire with a young singer’s developing voice in mind.
Teens
Make room for a changing voice, personal interests, and growing independence. Work on technique and expression through favorite songs, including musical theatre repertoire.
Adults
Start for the first time, return to singing, or work toward a specific goal. Lessons meet you where you are and give you clear ways to practice and keep growing.
Singing for an audience
Three recitals. A school cheering you on.
Recitals bring students and families together to listen, encourage one another, and celebrate the work behind each performance—from a first song to a carefully polished piece.

Regular chances to perform
Three school recitals each year give students meaningful goals and shared milestones. Recitals are an expected part of learning for students through age 18; adults are welcome to participate.

Before your first lesson
Questions about voice lessons.
What happens at the free trial?
You’ll meet a prospective teacher, make music together, and talk about your interests and goals. It’s a chance to experience a lesson and discuss a good next step.
How young can my child start voice lessons?
Readiness depends on the child. Contact us to talk about your child’s age and interests. For many children ages 3–7, Harmony Road group classes offer a wonderful musical beginning.
Do I need experience or a “good voice” to start?
No prior singing experience is needed. Your teacher starts with your current skills and helps you learn to listen, practice, and use your voice with greater understanding.
How much of a lesson is spent singing songs?
Lessons include songs and focused work on vocal technique. The balance varies with your needs; expect time for exercises, listening, and trying adjustments that you can apply to your music.
Can I sing songs I love?
Yes. Share your favorite songs and styles with your teacher. Together, you’ll choose music that interests you and suits your voice and learning goals.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. Adults are welcome, whether you’re a beginner, returning to singing, or continuing your study.
What does practice between lessons look like?
Your teacher gives you specific assignments and guidance for practicing exercises and songs at home. Consistent, thoughtful practice helps you carry the work from one lesson to the next.
